Adam Hopkins

If you want a great introduction to the Netherlands, try to get a hold of this book. It was published in 1988, but I traveled to the Netherlands in 2024 and so much still felt relevant. Hopkins takes you on a pleasant, informative journey across the country and into its past and present. The book is heavy on history, but you will also learn plenty about customs and culture. Shame that copies are difficult to come by; a reprint is deserved.
