Not for the faint of heart, but then, the cover does give you fair warning: there are Mama Osbone's bouncing boys, looking Heavenward, and dressed in suits of what looks like the leftover foil wrapper from a take-out order of broasted chicken. Even so, this is a classic of modern Bluegrass, and certainly worth the price of admission, as among the eleven cuts (yepp: only eleven) one finds Betty Sue Perry's incomparable "Medals for Mothers". "I bowed on my knees and cried 'Holy'" is pretty show more darn good too. show less
