Please forgive my rating my own book. This is my "baby" -- the book I may always be most proud of....
In this book, I did my best to show: 1) what humor is (ie., not telling jokes, but being playful); 2) why EVERYONE is naturally adept at this; 3) how this natural aptitude helps people to both teach and learn; and 4) ways to develop and use your natural sense of humor and play.
The most gratifying comment I've received from readers has been: "I meant just to scan a few pages, but ended up show more reading 3 chapters!" I wrote the book using the very techniques I was espousing to TO INSPIRE LEARNERS TO WANT TO LEARN MORE. The fact that my own learners -- ie., the book's readers -- were so inspired doubly confirmed my experiences in the classeoom and at the podium.
I'd love to hear back from anyone who uses the techniques in this book. show less

Since I wrote this book, I won't give it stars, but I WILL describe it. This book contains 50 games for training business people in 19 communication skills topics, including customer service, management, dealing with difficult people, and training facilitation. It's been the best-selling title in the McGraw-Hill BIG BOOK series since 2001, underlining the need for bringing fun into learning. Useful for both corporate trainers and votech teachers.
