Oh, I liked this! Jeff and Greg are two coaches and they've had the hots for each other for awhile but neither has made a move. Finally one day Jeff takes matters into his own hands and ties Greg to a chair (picture prompt).

I got an immediate feel for the character personalities even though this was a short read. Lots of interaction happened between the characters to show who they were and what each wanted from the other.

The ending was funny and I wish the story was longer. I wouldn't mind show more if the author continued on with the characters to find out how things go for Jeff and Greg. show less
A nice variation on the "younger guy has a crush" and "older guy isn’t out" theme, this short, light romance is entertaining and fun to read. The main characters are a rough-on-the-outside motorcycle mechanic and a gothic-artsy painter. Their whirlwind romance successfully combines passion, some angst, a creative apology, and some very supportive best friends.

Mack knows what he wants in life. Getting out of his parents’ house and financial independence are part of the plan. A successful show more motorcycle repair shop has been established, but his personal life isn’t anywhere close to where he has a loving relationship. He still isn’t sure he wants that, at least not right now, and since he prefers men and coming out is NOT in the plan, he spends the odd weekend at a club picking up men, and thinks that is all he needs. He didn’t count on running into Crypt…

Crypt is an artist who has had a crush on Mack since high school. He will do anything to get close to him, but when he does and realizes Mack isn’t out and not planning to change that, his world comes crashing down. Even though he knows he has only himself to blame for falling for the man, being confronted with the stark truth doesn’t hurt any less.

If you like quick reads about men with very different backgrounds, if an affair between an out-and-proud and a closeted man sounds interesting, and if you enjoy stories with passionate action between the sheets, you will probably like this story.

As one of the group who worked on editing and proofing these stories and helped put the anthologies together I might be considered biased, but these anthologies are definitely worthy of the 5 star rating.
