Magus Star Rising is a great space drama book. Weller is hired to investigate a wealthy married man, and see if he is cheating on his wife. But there is so much more going on. Every person has their own secrets and ambitions. The world-building was top-notch, and I absolutely was engrossed in the book. There are many characters and plots, and I kept up well. I would have to say this book is a great sci-fi read. Looking forward to more!
