Green began the war as a common soldier and never rose above that rank. He is pretty honest about looting and the trauma of illness in the Peninsula.11% of the Royal Army in the Peninsula was absent sick as an average figure. Though a light infantryman he wasn't a rifleman. A cheap reprint with no maps, but considerable town names.
