The metal band's sixth album (Purple, 1972).
B (Good).
The songs aren't great, but it's an enjoyable album. Dumb fun.

Today’s selection from “1001 Albums You Must Listen To Before You Die” by Robert Dimery. Contains that mainstay of Classic Rock radio "Smoke on the Water". Never really the kind of music I care for. The best I can say is it didn't quite give me a headache.
Also includes much the same set from the London Hard Rock Cafe earlier in 2006, I like that version better. A good dvd of what is still a great band although the vocals are clearly not what they used to be.
Mostly for Woman From Tokyo, but this is some pretty high-steppin' stuff.
