I really liked both Aimee and Miles, they were described so well that I got a clear image of both of them in my head. Being in a boy band must be cool but as Miles is still a teenager I can see it becoming tough too. There were strict rules by his manager that had to be obeyed like staying single as it will make the fans go wild. He also had to be very careful what he got up to in public as paparazzi were everywhere just waiting for a story.
Aimee is like me although she is a lot younger, I show more could relate to her as she is a blogger and reviews books. She isn’t a naive teenager though, her heart has been broken and she will not let that happen again.
Miles and Aimee getting together is forbidden, heck Miles’ best friend is Aimees brother and it would kill their friendship. But temptation is too much to resist. Can they make it? Will Nick be okay with them and what will the manager do?
Aimee and the Heartthrob was very well written, the story was fast paced and flowed very well. I really enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading more books from Ophelia London show less

This was such a sweet story--a definite feel-good read. It's third in the Perfect Kisses series--I have books one and two as part of my never-ending TBR--but it's not necessary to have read them to enjoy this novel.
(However, you do see the heroes and heroines of books one and two in this one--and they're adorable. You're definitely going to want to read their stories as well. Consider yourself warned.)
I really liked the combination of dance instructor and soldier heroine and hero. Add to show more that the fact that their first "meeting" was via a series of emails, and it just gets that much better. Adorableness overload! Their earlier contact gave just enough of a back story to make their falling in love during the time frame believable.
It can be tough to make a lying-about-who-you-are story work and even tougher to make the character who does so come off as sympathetic, but it works here. As much as I felt for Ellie having been lied to, I was actually one hundred percent with Charlie after his secret is outed. No small feat, believe me!
Ophelia London has definitely penned a light, happy romance here. It was just what my weekend needed!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. show less

I really enjoyed reading this book! The story flowed smoothly, and the relationship build-up between Spring and Henry was nicely paced. Nothing felt forced or fabricated. The romance aspect was quite endearing. It didn't feel cheesy—and this is coming from someone who immediately runs away from the slightest sight of cheese.
I didn't find any of the characters irritating, which I appreciated a lot. Spring was someone who I easily related to. I'm at that stage in my life where I'm still show more trying to find my footing in the world, and at the same time struggling to stand out amongst my peers. It's so easy to lose yourself along the way... And it was actually helpful for me to see Spring go through all that, because it made me sit back and look at the choices and the changes I've made in my life so far—and question a lot of the reasons behind them.
I loved the environment vs economy aspect of this story! Not only in general, but also how it was integrated into Spring and Henry's relationship. I took a lot of pleasure seeing them debate over which was right and which was wrong, but it was also very satisfying to watch them find a balance between their opposing opinions in the end.
I had quite a lot of fun reading this book and I'm so thankful that I was sent a hard copy of this book. Definitely, Maybe in Love is something I've very much proud to own and put on my bookshelf and recommend to others. show less
