Cecil Northcott (1902–1987)

My grandmother was very involved with the church; she would often go to meetings and conferences at other churches, and sometimes would bring back pamphlets or Christian literature. This was one of the books she brought back after a talk by missionaries. I loved it because the world it described was so alien to me, and because at the time I had this romantic notion that I would go and be a missionary, lol (I can't think of anyone less suited!)
