The fact that the book is written by "Anonymous" piqued my interest immediately.
According to the publisher, the author of this entertaining conspiracy thriller is a former journalist “whose identity is being kept secret in order to protect the ideas that inspired this novel.” - from the Goodreads description.
How could I not want to read this book! "Fiction" based on information the author knows about makes the reader wonder just how much is really fiction. Interesting characters, very show more interesting plot and insight into the world political arena. A fictional book like this makes one wonder...no spoilers here! I do like reading a good political intrigue every so often to mix my reading list up and this was definitely worth reading.
I won a copy of this book from Goodreads in exchange for an honest review. Thank you. show less

A novel about a man, who became a politician, and his ex-wife, a Czechoslovakian beauty queen, and a reporter who has inadvertently come to know too much. Sound familiar? The story zigged several times and I zagged, but it was roughly parallel to the current situation in U.S. politics. A fairly easy read, especially if you're interested in the current state of politics and morals in our country.
This is a well-done post-Cold War-now-Russian-mafia mystery.
