This book discusses the author's theories on syntactic minimalism, presented in a more abstract way. I don't particularly agree with all of the author's proposals & beliefs about theoretical syntax. However, I still found this book to be an interesting read. His theories are presented with plenty of explanations, yet the author is aware enough to know the limits or even the weaknesses. It being so abstract would likely make the book challenging for someone who does not already have some show more background in this topic. show less
