A Knight in the Silk Purse is unlike any other fantasy anthology I've read so far. It is more like a single story told by different authors.

A Knight in the Silk Purse takes place during the Festival of Flowers, a seven day celebration in the city of Taux. The different stories are told from the viewpoint of different characters and they are not told in chronological order, so that you would meet characters again and learn what they had been doing before or after the last time you encountered show more them.

The different authors managed to find a distinct voice which is present in all the stories and so it feels like a well rounded work.

In addition, the story that is told is full of adventure, daring, drama and even a bit of humor.

I can highly recommend this book to anyone interested in fantastic books.
