Our Dumb Neighbours; or, Conversations of a Father with his Children on Domestic and Other Animals by Thomas Jackson
To be sure, this is a moralistic endeavor to set children on the right path, and more than just the title is offensive; but it is a product of its time. The engravings are wonderful and there are a number of them that show sheep being herding with the help of Border Collie-type sheepdogs.
