The blues singer's follow-up to her commercial breakthrough, featuring "Something to Talk About"

1/4 (Bad).

I really expected there to be at least a few tracks that sound anything like "Something to Talk About." Most of these songs are so generic and void of musical ideas that the album practically doesn't exist.

11/1/24: Now playing in my iTunes library, 1991 "Luck of the Draw" was Bonnie Raitt's 11th studio album. Her previous record "Nick of Time" had been a big success and this one was even bigger. It remains Raitt's biggest-selling recording to date. I saw her concert many years before this.
