This book is great to have in the classroom when learning about states. The beginning of the book has a brief description of how the United States came about. Then every state has its own page and it goes in the order of the states being created. It has what number they were in being established and what date it became a state. Each state also has facts about it and important people from each state. In the back of the book it has all the state flags, nicknames, population, and capital.
