I am not a sports fan, so I'm always pleasantly surprised when I come across a movie or graphic novel with a sports theme that actually manages to draw me in. This volume sustains the energy of the first while throwing in a little intrigue that makes the hero start questioning her chosen mission in life. Looking forward to No. 3.
A friend recommended this for me to read. It was a lot of fun! I can't think of another one I read that mixed magic, treasure hunting, and sports before! It does work in a weird way. The artwork was cool too.
I don't like the gruesome violence, but I love everything else. It's snappy and awesomely strange, and I am definitely curious to read the second one.
A fine enough entry in the series, featuring miniature golf and wrestling. The change of setting and sport in each short volume doesn't leave a lot of room for character development, but the creator manages to move the overarching story along a little bit more. I'm still looking forward to future installments.
