Although she tries very show more UNSUCCESSFULLY to hide it. Which leds to some ridiculous and very humorous situations. She is a WTF agent on a mission but Hank is her kryptonite.
Hank is the sheriff and the pack alpha. He is hot, strong, smart and will do whatever it takes to get Essie back in his life. That includes working 'hands on' to help her solve her case.
Add in Essie's crazy 'Think it, Say it' granny, Bobby Sue. Then stir in her best friend, Dwayne who is a gay Vampyre and absolutely nuts in his own right. Oh, and let's not forget the mysterious bad guys. Now you have one truly funny and highly entertaining story with very spicy adult romance.

"How Hard Can It Be" is romantic comedy at it's finest. Better than finest. I'd put off reading it because the synopsis didn't really draw me in, but holy crap do I wish I'd read it sooner! I can't remember the last book I read that made me laugh quite so much and so loudly. I didn't think anyone could use the f-bomb more than me, and I was pleasantly surprised (yes, this impresses me). Even with all the humor, profanity and multitude of names for a man's junk, there were still moments in show more the book that moved me to tears. As with the other books in this series, the characters, situations and antics are beyond outrageous. Leave reality at the door and just go along for the ride and you’ll find yourself laughing out loud.
