This was great! Exactly what I was looking for. I haven't read many western/cowboy books, I got some laughs, some tears, and felt well invested in the characters. This was the first book I have read by this author and I will definitely look for more. It was well written, I felt like I was on that ranch. Though there was one slip up.. one moment the hero has hair on his chest the next he's hairless... perhaps he waxed before the date?? haha.. either way it was still a fun quick read! I would show more recommend it. show less
This is a fantastic read and a great addition to the Mustang Ridge series. These books are great small town romances and Firelight is one of the best. This story brings us two great characters, Danny and Sam. Danny is taking time away from her overbearing family to heal both physically and emotionally and trying to figure out what comes next. Sam a local, finds Danny intriguing and enjoys her company way more than he thinks he should. He is just so afraid of losing anyone else in his life, show more he feels getting close to Danny is just too risky. But the magic of Mustang Ridge seems to be working on these two....

Lovers of small town romance, ranches, and hot cowboys need to read this one fast! I highly recommend it.

I so loved this book!! Great storyline, wonderful characters and sweet romance. Foster is a tough looking cowboy but a sweetheart underneath and Shelby is a tough mama bear trying to help her child. Falling in love was never the plan but....
Highly highly recommended.
Loved Loved Loved it!! Cowboys, small towns, and romance, the perfect combination and no one does it better than Jesse Hayworth! I adore this series and I was not disappointed with this book. It's a beautifully written second chance story and the characters of Wyatt and Krista are perfect. This book as well as the series is one I highly recommend.
