It seems like every guy I know loves hanging out in the bathroom which is a phenomena I don’t understand. Doesn’t your butt and leg muscles begin to hurt at some point being in that position on a hard surface?

For those that answer “NO” to that question and have been deemed to need to start paying rent for the amount of time they spend in the bathroom then THIS is the perfect gift for them.

Surprisingly humorous and well written for a book that is essentially designed to be read while show more hanging out half naked baring your most private body parts. This is probably a good place to read it because some of the humor will have you laughing so hard you’ll be glad for the position you’re already in so there’s no worry about your body’s reaction to suddenly going into spasms and emptying itself.

I liked the wide variety of stories in here because even if you don’t like one you will surely find something to keep you coming back.

It’s definitely one of those great stocking stuffers, the gift you get for the person you don’t know what to buy for or that roommate who already spends so much time in the bathroom at least this way it’ll give you peace of mind what they’re doing in there.

I was asked to review this by Librarything.com.

This made me chuckle - a stocking filler for the bloke at Christmas you do not know what to give.

This is essentially short stories for you to read on the bog, I do have books in my downstairs loo and would have this book to add to the collection.

Readers you do need to reads these on the bog, you will undoubtedly be in there for longer , it passes the time and the stories are really fun and engaging.

I am not sure if readers will enjoy these show more stories in a different setting

Go on give it a go.

I appreciated the light touch in this book of using real history without bashing us over the head with Serious History Talk, it's a very good blend of fiction and fact. I wish the beginning was tighter, less inside-his-head and more showing, not telling. It took me a couple tries to really get into reading it. Though it could just be me! As progressed in the new world I thought he handled strange incidences just a wee bit too casually - no questioning, just accepted everything at face value show more and went along. Again, maybe it's just me, but comparing his reactions to, say, the children in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe ... I think I'd have liked to have seen more reaction, more wondering, from Clifton. Perhaps more resistance. Some parts dragged and felt like we were going in circles, others just dashed right through something I wanted to know more about. I feel like this is a good book and the author's next one will be GREAT.

All in all, though, it was an enjoyable read and I would recommend it to others. And I'd read the next book this author writes!

The story develops in a good rhythm; secrets are revealed at a proper time without disturbing the pace of the story; it keeps you interested in the book. Each chapter has new information what turns the story interesting and keeps it moving forward.
Arud has a task, to take his sister Lykke to Vithalia City before the next full moon; it´s a long and dangerous trip. Considering the fact that he doesn´t know why he´s doing it and what he´s family is, it seems to become an impossible mission. show more So many things happen during their journey that you believe they won´t make it.
The book is full of action and unexpected events, you don´t have time to relax and take a deep breath because there´s always something new happening.
Some events are predictable, but it doesn´t spoil the surprise; there are always new elements.
When other characters cross Arud and Lykke´s path, a tense atmosphere involves you. Are they trustworthy? You´ll see that even the reliable ones have a dark side and hidden interests.
In the middle of all of that, Arud has to understand what is happening to him. His body is changing, as well his sister´s body and it scares the hell out of him. He needs answers, but can he trust the ones that are around him and seem to know more about his story than him?
An unexpected ending. I confess that I was expecting a different ending. I thought that things that happened in the first book would happen only in the second or third one. However, it isn´t a bad thing; on the contrary, I´m more curious about the story.
