I enjoyed the quirky characters. I didn’t like them all, but that’s okay. The plot twists and turns kept me guessing who the murderer might be. I was wrong! This was a fun interesting book and the quilting added a fun touch!
It's the end of the line for Dappled Hills and I'm sorry to leave. I enjoyed this one as much as the previous books. Elizabeth Craig has a knack for weaving unforgettable characters into her plots. I felt as if I knew the people of Dappled Hills. Maybe, just maybe we can talk her into one more book.
This is a cozy mystery that takes place in Dappled Hills North Carolina. Beatrice has moved to the small town to be close to her daughter, Piper, a teacher there. She has barely moved in when she meets her neighbour, an old hippie woman named Meadow. The women in the Village Quilters guild corral her to help them on a group quilt. Shortly after meeting several of the women, and being involved in a rather ugly altercation at a Quilting Bee, Beatrice and Posy find the body of Judith, a woman show more with a lot of enemies. As Beatrice finds herself embroiled in the mystery of who killed Judith, more "accidents" happen and Beatrice herself is in danger.

I was very pleased with this book and will definitely look for more in this series.

I am getting the impression that all quilters must be quirky and at times frenetic. Yet the master quilters of the Amish persuasion are neither. Hmmm.
