Alptraumland by Ronald M. Hahn
Die Autoren müssen beim Verfassen des Buches einen Heidenspaß gehabt haben. So viel nur vorweg. Die Handlung ist eben so einfach wie genial: Der amerikanische Schriftsteller H. P. Lovecraft reist nach England, um einen alten Freund zu besuchen. Auf desen Landsitzt kommt es zu beunruhigenden Ereingnissen, die schließlich in einer Katastrophe münden. Lovecraft selbst aber sollte die Geschehnise später in der Erzählung "Die Rattem im Gemäuer" verarbeiten.

Der Roman "Alptraumland" ist show more glücklicherweise rein fiktiv und die Figur Lovecrafts wird nicht gerade positiv gezeichnet. Aber das tut den reinen Lesevergnügen keinen Abbruch. show less
