This is a wonderful book for little girls. If your kid's a fan of magic and anything unicorn related I highly recommend "Alexandra and the Vanishing Unicorns." It has an attention holding plot (unicorns are vanishing because kids are forgetting them), cute illustrations, and a cheerful ending. This a memorable picture book. Unicorns, flying, magic crystals... what more could you want?
This short book would be an asset to any classroom. Older children will understand better the struggles of Mother Teresa, but even the younger children can understand that she helped the poor. The timeline in the book really helps to reflect all she did in her life. She started out just one woman helping the poor and was not afraid to ask for help. Others joined her and she organized a way to help the poor all over the world. Mother Teresa was a selfless person and spent her entire life show more helping the homeless. show less
