The mystery that is Damian. Whatever happened to him to make him be this way with women?
This prequel gives us a glimpse into Damian's attitude toward women. There is a little shocker in there too. Damian will sleep with just about any woman, of any age, as long as she rates a 7 or higher on his f*ck-o-meter.
His famous "little black box" contains the remains of so many encounters. Let's face it, a little black book was not big enough to hold all his mementos.
I find this story about Damian show more intriguing. His last name should not be Castillo, but rather Casanova. He is so turned off toward feeling anything for any woman except the temporary emotion of sex. What is also intriguing is that he is so unaware of how lonely he is and how devoid of happiness his life is.
I am looking forward to reading Taiming Damian next month when it is released. show less

Endearing romance story! This is Jessica Wood's first book and it is really remarkable. This is easy reading, fun and engaging story of what happened one night during spring break in Cancun and the ramifications thereafter. Recommended to all who still remember their college years, first romances and their first jobs.
Cocky, self-assured, handsome and unbearably charming... that is Damian. At least, that is the illusion Damian is a pro at presenting when you meet him. He keeps all emotions well hidden behind this impenetrable facade.
A chance encounter with his new neighbor Alexis sends him for a spin and then some. The instant chemistry cannot be denied. Damian being the way he is, makes it known that he is a fun guy, no commitments, entanglements, love them and leave them kind of guy.
Our two main show more characters cannot be more opposite. Alexis is looking to start a new life away from her ex-boyfriend, her small town life, and the loneliness of having lost her parents at a young age. She is trying to reach out for a new life where adventure is welcomed hand in hand with self-respect and pity is no longer the emotion people feel when they meet her.
Of course they are fated to be together. We are taken through the ups and downs of this blooming relationship and the learning curve of the "no commitment" Damian in his quest to discover how to love.
This is book 1 of our story. Book 2 - Taming Damian - is due out early in 2014. Lucky for us, as the end of book 1 leaves us with a surprise and a WTF!!! expletive in our mouths. show less

The Heartbreaker introduces us to the main character of The Heartbreaker series, Damian Castillo. He is a man-whore at heart and just doesn't do relationships. Why would he, when the ladies are willing to drop their panties everywhere he goes. However this can also lead to trouble.
Totally in love with Damian and will be reading the rest of the series. I need to know what happens to this man-whore and his new mystery girl.
