Eye candy for the true fan: production stills from every film Bogart made. For me this book is a window to his earliest films which I have not found available on DVD or VHS. Each entry also lists the film's cast and a brief synopsis. A little voice whispers to me, whining that the photos are not in color. But most of Bogart's films were black-and-white, so I think it's more authentic this way. The pages of the copy I have, a hardback, are matte like newsprint, not glossy like it would be show more made today. I love the smell of this book from 1969 - the ink, the paper.
