Ballymore Adventures, Book 1 by Bob Brooks is a delightful children’s book. Each chapter is a new adventure for the animals of Ballymore. The characters are wonderfully entertaining. The lessons of each adventure are important for children to learn. They are told in an amusing yet meaningful way. The illustrations are beautiful and well placed. I read this to my 10 year old and he loved it. I would like to see the tales segway to the next more smoothly. I would definitely recommend this show more book for all children. show less

In this clever children's novel, one can find everything for a child's imagination. With animals as the main characters, to moral tales, to stories that are just adorable, Brooks definitely delivers.

The most interesting part is how Brooks incorporates snow into each story as well as how each tale intertwines with the rest.

A well thought out and beautifully written and illustrated novel. A must read for any child.

A lovely collection of tales which tells the story of a community of animals. These wonderful characters go on many a journey and adventure. They are always learning life's important lessons which brings them closer together in friendship. The story gives a classic children's book feeling and is a great choice for those who especially love animal stories.
