"This is the right book at the right time. Illustrated with some of the most splendid fresoes from the Basilica in Assisi, it offers the reader, whether Christian or a follower of another religion, an opportunity to better discover the hidden life and teachings of St Francis." Father Maximilian Mizzi
"Lost Gospels or False Gospels?" is an excellent overview comparing the Four Gospels of the Christian New Testament with other apocryphal writings which purported to be written by people mentioned in the Gospels, but which were not included in the New Testament canon. The documentary discusses some of the ancient, syncretistic Gnostic beliefs, some of the first heresies faced by the growing Orthodox Christian Church. Comparisons are made on the basis of claims to historicity and apostolic show more tradition. This video is highly recommended for anyone interested in the earliest writings of the One Holy, Orthodox, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. show less
This edition has one major flaw: glossy pages. Otherwise, it is fantastic. The leather is nice, the print is nice and readable. Also it has been updated to conform with Liturgicam Authenticam. But the glossy pages hurt it. I constantly have to tilt it in order to read it because the pages reflect the light which makes the text invisible.
Been looking for an Officially Sanctioned Catholic Bible that you can toss into your backpack and bring along wherever you go? This little baby's as good as it can get!

With a leatherlike cover, zipper to keep the pages from being ripped, jostled and folded in your backpack, and a Miraculous Medal for a zipper handle, the physical is as beautiful as the spiritual in this Bible.

The type is a little small, but not uncomfortably so. The language of the Old and New Testament leaps out at you and show more you can feel God whispering to you as you leaf through the pages of this easy-to-carry yet powerful book.

Get it while you still can.
