This book is about paternity testing in Jamaica where it is required by the courts for various issues, American Immigration for citizens looking to bring in their Jamaican family and of course, from fathers who don't actually believe they are the fathers or mothers seeking to prove that yes, he is the baby daddy and he must pay!

The most interesting bunch are the combatative parents. First there is the story, then there is the testing, then there is the explosion of 'I told you so' or 'you show more slag', followed by lots of jumping up and down and audience participation where everyone gets all self-righteous. All very enjoyable on Maury, Jerry and their ilk. And that is just where this book fails.

The author, a very proper Jamaican lady, is keen to keep everything neat, legal and about the procedures as she is that technician that does the testing. We never learn what happens when she has told the putative baby father that he isn't and that the baby momma is a lying slag trying to get money off him for true or that he is and he must face up to his responsibilities. Also there are no names included, only hints that this person is a politician, this one is in showbiz, this one is well-known... Give me names! Who are these dreadful people? Why else am I reading this book?

So the book is boring. It's also short and printed with a big font, that helps.
