Journalist John Garrett (Terence Knox) and his disaffected son Danny (Paul Scherrer) accidentally find themselves in the Nebraskan town of Gatlin just as the bodies of the murdered adult town-folk are being discovered. The children, now led by Micah (Ryan Bollman) are still hiding out in the corn and following the murderous diktats of He Who Walks Behind The Rows. Nothing much happens in this sequel, the Gatlin kids wandering around in a group looking ominous in between bouts of ritual show more sacrifice; John and Danny manage to repair their relationship and John gets himself a new girlfriend in the form of his foxy B&B landlady. There's a couple of ludicrous death scenes including a throat-slashing corn husk and a house falling on a pensioner; a charmingly mystical Native American and a preacher spouting laughable clichés: "Heavy metal music blaring out its profane message to the waiting ears of our impressionable children. Movies are filled with violence, blood and bodies, naked bodies, writhing together, glorifying fornication!" Overall "The Final Sacrifice" is nonsensical and pretty dreadful most every aspect, but I still managed to enjoy the campy, clichéd corniness of whole thing. show less
