Kat Parker went to Vegas but things didn’t stay in Vegas. She met a man, fell in love married him, then forgot him along with most the things that happened there (amnesia), and, Kat suddenly developed the ability to communicate with comatose people.
Now if that was not enough the vampire she met, Jonny came home with her and now shares her house; and Damian, the cop who helped save her life in Vegas transferred to Houston and is always stopping by her house to help or to feed her.
Since she show more can communicate with comatose people she agrees to help a mob boss’s injured child, she has to make a living, you know!

Fun read with nice pace and flow. I look forward to reading more!

Kat Parker returns to the supernatural side of Las Vegas to support her boyfriend, Detective Damian Johnson, when he goes there following the death of his father. Kat is a psychic who communicates with the dead and comatose, so when she meets D.J., Damian’s father, D.J. tells Kat he thinks he was murdered, although he really doesn’t remember his death. From this point on Damian and Kat are drawn into the mystery of a lost scepter which could result in civil war in the supernatural show more country of the Cthulhu.
Who murdered D.J.? Who murdered the two Cthulhu men and who were they? Where is the scepter?

I love this series and the various characters who inhabit it. Especially, Kat Parker who continues, in her slightly blundering way, to collect facts, deduce circumstances and solve the various mysteries occurring around her.

Another crazy episode in the life of Kat Parker since she came back from Las Vegas with varying degrees of psychic abilities. This time her favorite taco restaurant owner Frank is the cause of her problems, he found a decapitated head in the alley behind his restaurant. But he knows the victim and so brings the head to Kat so she can find out who the murder is. Now Kat is running around town with a head in her handbag and mobsters after her family and friends.
Another story with Kat and her friends. The difference is that her abilities are expanding, from talking to the comatose she is now able to talk to the dead.
Her Uncle Jimmy died and there are three groups that are following her to find his secret. The problem is that NO ONE knows what they are looking for.

Fun, fast read with engaging characters! Most of all I enjoyed the magical alligator, sorry you’ll have to read the book to find out what I mean
