Because when you start this book, you are going to not move or stop reading until the book is finished. This book makes you question what it means to live in a materialistic society. It is written in such a way that you actually feel sorry for the bad guy. Every step he makes takes him farther into a dark place. The book made me both show more laugh and cry and I kept thinking it would make a good movie. The characters are well developed and you can tell the book was edited--no mistakes. This story won't let you go. If you like thrillers, give it a try. show less
