William Webb received both a Ph.D. in mobile radio and an M.B.A. from Southampton University. Dr. Webb is director of strategy at Motorola. He is a fellow of the IEEE, a senior member of the IEEE, and a chartered engineer. Dr. Webb holds four patents and has also authored Introduction to Wireless show more Local Loop, Second Edition; The Complete Wireless Communications Professional; and Understanding Cellular Radio (Artech House 2000, 1999, 1998). I thoroughly enjoyed the 15 stories within the book, it's not a long book however there is the perfect balance of information and length of each so you don't feel rushed or that you are missing out. Some a brutal and others are head scratching in regards to the what or why and they all have you shaking your head. I really do hope that DNA will continue to help solve some of these and I did have to chuckle about the Golden State Killer having now been caught since this was published, but it show more also goes to show what can change within a short time due to technology!!
