This is one of my favorite garden books. It celebrates the Western garden that we see so little of in the garden magazines.She says let's return plants to the place of honor in our garden and drop out the emphasis on furniture and waterworks. Her compositions of shrubs, grasses and perennials are magical and natural. I only want to garden like this. I tore out a lot of my garden after I got this book! I would have less South African plants and more natives, but generally this is the feel of show more a garden that works in Colorado and the high plains. show less
