
David M. Pozar

About the Author
David Pozar is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he has worked since 1980. Pozar has written numerous books on the topic of microwave engineering such as Microwave Engineering (1997) and Antenna Design Using Personal Computers show more (1985). Pozar attended the University of Akron, earning both a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1980. He is active in the IEEE Association and has won several awards from them for outstanding contributions. He has also received an outstanding senior faculty award and a R.W.P. King Best Paper award, among others. An active speaker at trade meetings worldwide, Pozar is also interested in fine woodworking and has created reproductions of antique furniture.
