How to Use, Adapt and Design Knitting Patterns: How to Knit Eactly What You Want, Every Time- with Confidence by Sam Elliott
It’s certainly a long and grand title, and promises much. The book does cover the basics of following a pattern, but the majority of it is given over to the process of adaptation, which is reasonable. I found that it was too advanced for me, but I know that there’s a resource to turn to when I reach a more advanced stage in my knitting. Hopefully at that point the book will be useful rather than daunting.
