I like this book. I am not quite interested in Fairy Tales in the form of a chapter book, but this book includes pictures with each study which makes it that much easier to enjoy each story. The book says fairy tales form Spain, but there are Fairy Tales from almost every European country. The first reason I like this book is because it exposed me to cultural stories and tales from other countries. It helped me understand the culture and traditions. The book is also very old, so I was able show more to see how the Fairy Tales have evolved not only over time, but also across continents. The next reason I liked this chapter book was because of the pictures. Some of the stories were hard to understand because they incorporated foreign cultures. The picture helped me further visualize the tale. I think the purpose of this book is to inform students about the Spanish culture, while also entertaining children and young readers. show less
