This was disappointingly predictable, and I’m not keen on the way Jewell writes. Too many short sentences. Slightly disjointed. I’m not keen on the way the story starts of being told from a Laurel’s POV and then switches to rambling narratives describing the events that we’d worked out already.

This was disturbing, the thriller aspect was easily solvable, and there were flaws with logic in plot.
Laurel's grief and the families grief was extremely well handled wish that had been the plot of the story.
