This book is pure entertainment with a very enjoyable twist at the end. A boy was looking for "Lion"; however, the one he finds is hungry for lunch, but eventually outsmarts this hungry animal and finds the "Lion" in which he was really looking for. I believe students will find this book enjoyable and makes for a great read-aloud. I would recommend this book for grades K-3.
Raisin is a special little cow until her baby brother comes along and then she must learn to do for herself what the other cows had been helping her to do. She resents baby brother but learns to love him as well as herself as she learns that she can do things for herself. Sweet story that siblings will identify with. Illustration are very endearing.
A young boy has lost his Lion. A large lion is looking for lunch. A delightful twist highlights this clever tale that is sure to make children laugh.
