schematix, many photos of beautiful & interesting basketry covering a wide range of techniques and treatments. My personal favorites among the projects: "Rice Cakes Wrapped In Dwarf Bamboo Leaves" and "Protective Snow Cap for Plants". Basketry just doesn't get its due in the world and it should; it absolutely rivals loom weaving for the beauty & show more functionality of the objects and for the inventiveness and range of the techniques, all of which are amply illustrated in this book. show less
