This was a very entertaining read. It reminds me of an after school special. There's a long held fued between cousins Maya and Viviana. They can't stand each other and now Viviana is staying with Maya's family for an indeterminable amount of time. Viviana is out for revenge and she uses Maya's boyfriend as the weapon. This book had all kinds of drama....sibling rivalry, family rivalry, abandonment, flash mobs, jealous boyfriends, social/cyber bullying and a love triangle. It was fast and show more fun.

I rate this book 3.5 stars

I would like to thank Netgalley and Harlequin/Kimani Tru for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

This was really a great book.. This book kept me on my toes the entire time through out the book and even made me find the second book.. this book focuses on many prolblems that teens actually experience today in our society. I enjoyed reading this book and would love to read it again...
The setting of the book took place in Wesley’s father and step moms home. It also took place at Wesley’s school, on a hot summer day.

Wesley’s mom has been back and forth in and out of jail. She was addicted to drugs. She had came out of rehab and wanted to make a change in he daughter’s life and hers also. Her daughter didn’t really trust her as much as she use to. She had a felling that her mom would try to fight over her and get custody. Wesley’s mom put her through a lot as a show more teen.

I do recommend this book because it gives people the perspective of how a teenager could go through so much stuff as a young adult.

The narrator is Earl Sewell and the characters are Wesley, Barbara, Jordan, Sabrina, Keysha, and Justine.
