Ron Ayres

I was on a motorcycle after a long absence and decided to hunt around on the web for trip related sites. the IronButt website popped up. I looked into it. I love to ride and back in the old days would take off on long trips through snow, rain, hail, whatever, and here is a group of people that do that all the time. They have rallies and low and behold someone wrote a book about participating in an 11,000 mile in 11 day rally. Cool stuff. I promptly bought the book and before i finished the show more first page realized that I had found my people, or at least one other sick person such as myself.
The writer hops between reporting on the other participants to his own thoughts and feelings.
The book held my attention, I felt at times that I was participating myself as well as feeling some of the frustration and sadness that had to have been felt by other participants when something bad would happen during the course of the 11,000 mile event.
All in all I felt the book was well written and am glad I added it to my library. show less
