Alan Wade

Yet another wonderful book illustrated by Petra Mathers. this one is written by Alan Wade, a wonderful story of a bored little boy who goes on an adventure with the weather balloons given to him by a friend. Again, Mathers's pictures contribute so much to the story it would be hard to imagine it without them.

Hints of the movie, Up, which I haven't seen, and the book, Where the Wild Things Are, which I have read. Vibrantly colored illustrations.
