"Allan's Cricket Annual" was a very detailed review of Australian cricket, from the first edition in 1988 to the fourteenth and last in 2001. As this is the last edition there is obviously some melancholy scattered through the pages.
Sadness at the passing of an era aside, the Annual, like "Wisden", meticulously records the 2000/01 Australian cricket season, including possibly the most indepth coverage of the Sheffield Shield that could be found anywhere, as well as plenty of factoids, such show more as Carl Rackemann's mother helped deliver Nathan Hauritz at his birth.
Obviously, these annuals are now very rare but if you're the type of person who wants an indepth review of the Hobart cricket season, you'll be in hog heaven here. show less

(fonte: Imaj)
