Little Bill is upset that the weather has ruined his plans to go to the park with a friend. Little Bill's mom suggest that he and his friend will have to play inside using their imaginations. The day is saved when Little Bill makes a tent with use of sheets.

I like that this book uses children of different nationalities but uses a situation that all children can relate to such as being bored on rainy days. I am not sure that it "fits" into the multicultural genre as I know there are better show more examples for this genre.

The book is a good example for children on how to use their imaginations on rainy days, and it also shows children that ALL children share the experiences/dilemmas. show less
