Well written and formatted with good photography. This cookbook tends toward the highly intricate and time-consuming recipes. These are the sorts of things to make for a grand dinner party, not the typical nightly meals.

Southern Sideboards by Junior League of Jackson

This is one of my all time favorites. I have never been disappointed with any of the recipes I've tried. My mom's favorite cookie recipe is Nut Butter Balls. For the holidays, I make Chocolate Truffles for the office.
