Gary LaFontaine (1945–2002)

Gary LaFontaine has been publishing fishing articles since he was fifteen. His first book, Challenge of the Trout, a main selection of the Field & Stream Book Club, was published in 1976. His masterpiece Caddisflies was published by The Lyons Press in 1981; since then, it has been recognized as a show more classic of American fly-fishing literature.
