For a Slimming World cookbook this is much better than I'd usually expect, which I suppose is because it was independently published, rather than being only aimed at members. Glossy photos, and very authentic looking recipes. Yes in places they've made slightly weird substitutions: tofu in place of paneer, fat free yogurt pretending to be cream, but in general they look delicious.

I've tried one of the recipes before (raan of lamb) since it featured on their website, and it was very tasty. I show more really look forward to trying some of the others. show less
50 recipes all with 3 syns or less on Slimming World's new Extra Easy plan, introduced in 2009. I've not tried any of them yet, but they seem well written, with good plain ingredients, simple instructions and good photos of each dish.
The Tomato Lentil and Bacon Soup is lovely and the other recipe I've tried so far is the Moroccan Lamb with Couscous which looks like becoming a family favourite.
