I enjoyed the story here, and the movement of the structure, but the unfortunate thing was that the story desperately needed editing. The complexity of the story could itself cause confusion, but that was compounded by regular tense issues which should have been addressed in editing, and other small editing issues were a distraction throughout. The editing was such an issue, in fact, that when the story seemed to begin doubling back on itself and re-covering territory explored earlier, I at show more first thought it was an editing mistake vs. a structural/stylistic move--and that tells you just how distracting the editing was.

I'd love to say I could get past that issue and really fall into the characters/story, but as it is, I struggled with this one. show less

I laughed so hard I almost wet myself.

This is definitely adult but not a story nor any steamy scenes or anything like that.

It is EXACTLY what the author says it is.

I loved it and I am saving it on my kindle. In fact, everytime I have to go to a family (my sis in law & other prudish members), this is the book they will see on my kindle when the ask me
