In some ways, it's a very good book, in some ways, it's a very frustrating book. If you just want to read a story, he's got a nice narrative. If you want to know what happened to the Fitzgerald, there's some obvious facts, some obvious info-dumping passed off as dialogue (he's got the crew talking about a lot of things that I think would fall under "goes without saying" for a crew as seasoned as Fitz's), and an awful lot of gray area where you're not sure if he's got a source for the show more information or is just inventing something to make the narrative flow. show less
