Short biography
Joe Henson has earned an indisputable reputation as one of the industry's premiere publicity portrait (headshot) photographers. More actors have had their headshots taken by Joe Henson than any other photographer in NYC.

His extensive portfolio contains the photographs of over 18,000 clients, including the famous faces of Annette Bening, Tyler Perry, Dick Cavett, Doc Severinsen, J. K. Simmons, Adam "King Ad Rock" Horowitz of the Beastie Boys, Selma Blair, Sean Young, Robert Downey, Sr., John Henson (of course!), Crispin Glover, Charles Grodin, Soupy Sales, Chubby Checker, Diamond Dallas Page, Jackee, Brian Doyle-Murray, Rita Rudner, Lisa Lampanelli, David Harbour, Kim Rhodes, Brian Regan, Jordan Roth, Daryl Roth and Missi Pyle.

Joe is equally at home shooting actors, CEOs, writers, children, politicians, performers, families, artists, and world famous celebrities. His commercial work has been exhibited in numerous magazines, including Vogue, "O" The Oprah Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Wired, TV Guide, Soap Opera Digest and the New York Times. Joe's work has also been featured on book jackets, corporate brochures, DVD covers, billboards and in feature films.

Now Joe has also turned his focus to Fine Art Portraiture, capturing his subjects in a unique and dramatic statement.

There's some funny stuff in here, some decent satirical pokes at the Tories, especially Theresa May and Boris Johnson, some well-drafted cartoons and illustrations, too. But...

Overall, it comes off as a little too ernest, a little too preachy, and often a little too holier-than-thou to redeem the parts that hit the mark. It's a shame, because I really wanted to love this comic.
