This book is appropriate for the grades pre-k through second. Younger children who are learning the alphabet may enjoy flipping through this book if they love dogs. The book is filled with different types of dogs and fun facts about them.
Uses in the classroom:
- I can make a center for animals (new animals each week). I would put this book in the center for dogs.
- With each letter that we learn, I can read about the dog that goes a long with that letter.
